Selected from 1,057 applicants, Dataseka joins the 2026 Google accelerator to advance Seeka, strengthen trusted analytics and help businesses grow with data and AI.

Dataseka is one of 15 South African-led startups selected for the 2026 Google for Startups Accelerator: South Africa, from 1,057 applicants.

The programme runs through December, giving us an opportunity to work directly with Google engineers, AI specialists and business mentors. For our customers and community, what matters most is what we do with that opportunity.

Our mission is to put the power of data and AI to work for every business, helping them make smarter decisions, uncover opportunities and grow.

Businesses already generate valuable information across spreadsheets, databases and everyday tools. But understanding what it means, knowing which numbers to trust and turning findings into decisions is still harder than it should be.

We’re building Dataseka to close that gap.

What we’ll focus on

  • Make Seeka more useful: Improve how our AI coworker helps teams ask questions of their data, understand the answers and find opportunities worth acting on.
  • Make analytics simpler and more trustworthy: Reduce the work of connecting data sources and strengthen the reliability, security and governance behind the insights businesses depend on.
  • Help more businesses get value sooner: Make Dataseka easier to adopt and scale, so teams can spend less time preparing reports and more time making decisions that move their businesses forward.

We’ve already built Seeka using Google’s AI technologies and cloud infrastructure. Working with Google’s specialists gives us an opportunity to challenge our assumptions, tackle harder problems and turn those lessons into a better product.

We’ll continue sharing meaningful updates as the programme progresses, especially where improvements make a difference to the businesses using Dataseka.

The measure of this opportunity isn’t how much technology we build. It’s how much further we help businesses go.
